The Solang Valley undoubtedly
one of the most spectacular and impressive valleys of Himachal
Pradesh. 9 km away from Manali is Solang Valley. Solang Valley
is 8-10 km as the crow flies from Beas Kund which is the source
of river Beas and it is at this spot Manarani Ved Vyas wrote
the famous epic Mahabharata. It is said Solang valley was the
route taken by Pandavas to Heaven. At the Solang valley an ice
Shivling is formed during winters which is said to be taller
than the Shivling formed at Amarnath.Besides being a picture
postcard perfect Solang Valley is the place where the slopes
are ideal for paragliding and skiing.Best adventure routes and
treks start from this area.
Day 1
ARRIVE SOLANG VALLEY MANALI,
CHECK INTO
WELCOMHERITAGE SOLANG VALLEY RESORT , MANALI
After Relaxation proceed for Local sightseeing. Hadimba Devi
Temple,Manu Temple,Hot Water Sulphur Springs,Buddhist Monastery,Club
House, Nehru Kund .Naggar : ( Jagatsukh Ancient Temple, The
Naggar Castle and Roerich Art Gallery )
KIDS COME AND JOIN US (AT3.30 pm) UNDER THE SEA!!! YOU HAVE
SEEN DISNEY'S LITTLE MERMAID IN HER BEAUTIFUL SEA HOME AND
HER MAGICAL SEA FRIENDS. JOIN US FOR AN EVENING FULL OF FUN
AND
FROLIC WHERE WE HAVE RECREATED THE MAGIC, MYSTERY AND ADVENTURE
OF THE BEAUTIFUL SEA WORLD / MUSIC GAMES SNACKS….

After an Early breakfast proceed to Rohtang Pass : Enjoy

Enroute visit - Nehru Kund, Kothi Gorges, Gulaba, Rahla Water
Falls and Rani Nallah
LATE AFTERNOON PARTICIPATE IN KITE FLYING COMPETITION/ CHLDREN
COULD JOIN HOBBY CLASSES-GLASS PAINTING, TATOO MAKING,FLOWER

After Breakfast Proceed for HorseRiding,
Zorbing and Mountain Quad Bike Ride (Complementary coupons
as per pkg ) .One could Also proceed After breakfast proceed
for SHIVLINGTrek (OPTIONAL AT EXTRA COST) .Guide will escort.Packed
lunch would be provided for picnic on way back
The day for this trail would start at 10.00 AM in the morning
to reach a temple of Hindu diety lord Shiva called Anjani
Mahadeva temple. In winters at this temple a Shivling of snow
is formed which is about 50 ft in height which is said to
be higher than the shivling formed at Amarnath. It is a beautiful
sight to see a river falling fron a cliff on the shivling.
